This unusual sundial has the engraved brass Pheonix sundial inlaid in a slate surround.Your choice of an engraved dedication or motto (up to 360 characters, approximately 60 words) is included in the price

The solid sheet of slate has an 11" (28cm) diameter and is 1/2" (1.25cm) thick.  The engraved brass sundial set in the slate top has an 8" (20cm) diameter.  Slate is a natural material already present in many gardens and impervious to the ravages of our weather.  Brass is equally weather-resistant and will dull down to an antique looking golden hue.

Sundials make a stunning focal point in any garden.  Set upon a pillar they will draw the eye to the centre of your garden.  Whilst not precision instruments they will tell the passing of time.

Engraving Option: Up to 360 characters on the inlaid brass sundial.That is approximately 60 words.

 Free to UK Mainland by Fed Ex 48-72 hour service, next day delivery can be added in the checkout.

Setting up:

 At 12 o'clock noon set your sundial so the shadow is at the XII numeral.  Full instructions are given in our Instruction Manual.

Fixing option:

 Glue to plinth with an epoxy glue like No Nails Exterior available from most DIY shops
